Chess Cawley
RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
Chess Cawley is a second-year law student at Georgetown University Law Center. At Align Energy Advisors, she supports research and analysis, contributing to projects focused on clean energy policy.
Chess graduated cum laude from Bowdoin College with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and concentration in Environmental Chemistry, and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Between her undergraduate and legal studies, she was a Fulbright Fellow at the University of Málaga in Spain, and taught high school STEM in Hawaii. Chess’s experiences and studies allow her to bring an interdisciplinary perspective to energy and climate issues.
